If you can't tell what that arrow is pointing at, its a boy!!!!!

This is my favorite picture. I love how he has his hand up by his face. He was a little naughty while the tech was trying to get the pictures of him. He kept trying to hide in the corners and he was swimming around in there like crazy! I kind of knew in the back of my mind for the last couple of days it was going to be a boy (even though I was hoping for a girl) so i am still getting used to the idea that I can't put dresses and headbands on our baby.

We invited our mom's to come in for the ultrasound and it made it even more special to have both of the Grandma's there. Thanks moms for coming.

Jared is so excited to be getting a little boy that he couldn't wipe the big grin off his face!

We can't wait to start getting the nursery all set up and especially to get this little baby boy here and see what he looks like. We have a name pretty much picked out but we aren't going to tell yet what it is so you will have to stay tuned!

Today is the Day!!!!!!!

The votes are in! It looks like most everyone is rooting for a girl. So today is the big day when we go in for the ultrasound! My appointment isn't until 4:30 so I am dying here at work. Finally, hopefully an end to the almost nightly dreams about what baby Blad is and me thinking about what it could be 24/7! I hope this little baby cooperates and isn't hiding the goods because I don't think I will be able to leave my appointment not knowing if its a boy or girl. I never thought this day would get here it felt like I had to wait months and months. I am getting quite the bump already and my body is expanding in areas that I don't like. So far the scale is still in my good graces but not the mirror! I knew my stomach was going to grow but I didn't know a muffin top was part of the deal! I know it will all be worth it in the end, but man I don't appreciate feeling huge already! I'm still not positive but I have felt the same little flutters in my stomach the past few days that I think are the baby moving. It feels like something is pulsing in my stomach. I am starving all the time now (which could help explain why my love handles are expanding and I have muffin top) and I actually like food again. No cravings but things taste really really good again. Hopefully later I will be posting what Baby Blad is. We are so excited! Wish me luck!!!

I Need Advice!

Ok so next week we find out what we are having so while we both have some time off of work and school during Christmas break we decided that will be the perfect time to get some baby shopping done but we want to start looking around right now to see whats out there. So all you mothers out there I need your help! I want to know the things that you can't live without and the things that you bought for your baby that ended up being a total waste of money. Also we want to start looking for cribs, strollers, and all that big stuff so tell me the brands you like and the ones you didn't and the features you like and dislike. Some people have suggested buying a used crib or an inexpensive one because they are going to bite it and chew on it and that is something I didn't even think about. All I picture is a cute little baby sleeping in it, not destroying it! I have no idea about these things so any advice you have on anything would be greatly appreciated!!!!
